How Does Myomin Work?

Update on March 2023: We no longer carry Myomin on our website. Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you're interested in a product that supports normal hormone balance, try DIM-X, which is a very potent and effective blend of nutrients that promote detoxification of environmental estrogens, supports healthy liver function, and therefore promotes hormonal balance in men and women.

Hundreds of bottles of Myomin are sold every month. This is actually unfortunate because people are buying it since they have too much estrogen. If you have too much estrogen, it is linked estrogen-dominant problems such as uterine fibroids, thyroid troubles, endometriosis, cysts, cancer, infertility issues, and the list goes on and on.

How Does Myomin Work?

Myomin helps block the aromatase enzyme in the body. Aromatase, also called estrogen synthase, is an enzyme responsible for a key step in the biosynthesis of estrogen. If you block or reduce the production of aromatase, you reduce the production of estrogen. Myomin doesn’t technically reduce estrogen in the body, rather it indirectly supports normal estrogen production. Myomin works great for women with mild to moderately elevated levels of estrogen.

Why Do Estrogen Levels Increase?

Toxins!

It's important to find out why you are experiencing symptoms of high estrogen levels (ie: night sweats, hot flashes, excessive bleeding during menstruation, etc.).

Toxins in our environment mimic estrogen, like a copycat, and are a major way hormone balance is thrown off. Bisphenol A (BPA) is a classic example. BPA is in many products, such as plastic water bottles, the lining of canned foods, and cash register receipts. To reduce your chemical exposure, be aware of what you’re eating and where it comes from. Trash all those plastic water bottles and drink out of non-plastic bottles and cups. Try those cool stainless steel or glass water bottles currently on the market.

Two more common toxins that mimic estrogen are phthalates and parabens. Check out these easily adoptable suggestions for reducing your exposure.

Being Overweight

Adipose tissue creates estrogen. If you’re overweight and have estrogen troubles, lose weight. I know this is a big statement. A few suggestions to start: eat enough protein every day, eliminate all the white foods and processed foods, eat plenty of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. There's also a very fascinating connection between a person's gut microbiome and their weight, appetite and satiety.

Estrogen Tests

Ask your doctor about ordering an Estrogen Fractionation Test for you. It tests estrogen levels of E1, E2, and E3. Some types of estrogen are more harmful and more risky than other types of estrogen. It’s important to know the levels of all the different types of estrogens.

Also ask your doctor to check your Vitamin D and Iodine levels.
