This is delicious!!! The matcha and moringa meld so well together, and the result is a beautiful, nutritious green-hued beverage. You may have heard about all matcha’s health benefits, but moringa is a less unknown superfood. Moringa is a tree, native to India, and the leaves are used to make the powder. This tree thrives in many parts of the world facing hunger and is often used to sustain infants and nursing mothers.
It has a subtle, sweet taste and is full of nutrition – antioxidants, phytonutrients, minerals, vitamins, and amino acids. It’s particularly high in vitamins C, A, and B6, and the minerals calcium, iron, and magnesium.
It’s an overall incredible superfood.
I N G R E D I E N T S
1 cup unsweetened plant-based milk
1 tsp matcha powder
1 tsp moringa powder
1 tsp coconut oil or MCT oil
1 tsp Kerrygold grass-fed butter or ghee. I love the buttery flavor of the Ancient Organics ghee.
¼ tsp honey (to taste)

1. Combine the milk, matcha, and moringa in a small saucepan. Over medium heat, bring your drink to a low simmer, stirring occasionally. I prefer to use my aero latte hand frother to “blend” everything so I don't have to get the blender out.
2. Once the milk is warm, pour your drink into a blender. Add the fat (coconut oil/MCT oil and ghee/butter) and honey to the blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!
Tip: If you have an aero latte hand frother, you can add everything to the saucepan and skip the blender step.
