- 1 small container plain Greek yogurt (approx. 1 cup or 6-8 oz)
- 1/3 cup water
- 3/4 cup frozen, unsweetened cherries or 2 Tbsp tart cherry juice
- 1/8 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or 1/8 tsp vanilla bean powder
- 3 T raw almonds
- 1 T chia seeds
D I R E C T I O N S
Add all ingredients to high-speed blender and blend well until very smooth. Pour into glass and wait a few minutes for it to thicken up.
Vegan version: Substitute 3/4 cup almond milk for yogurt and water.
Add-in options: one frozen banana, or 1/4 ripe avocado (for amazing smoothness). Or add a little vegan or whey protein powder.
