For Healthy Detoxification
- Combats the negative effects of toxic environmental xenoestrogens.
- Promotes healthy liver detoxification.
- Promotes elimination of environmental xenoestrogens.
- Promotes a healthy hormone balance in men and women.
- Offers antioxidant support to protect tissues from the effects of excessive oxidation caused by xenoestrogens.
Xenoestrogens are some of the biggest health disruptors a person can encounter, and the average person is bombarded by them every day. These Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals, or EDCs, mimic the hormone estrogen and directly interfere with hormone signaling. This interference contributes to an increasing number of health issues such as cancer, fertility problems, slow cognitive development, changes in metabolism, and immune disorders.
Hormone balance is dependent on liver detoxification, and your liver must detoxify efficiently in order to excrete hormones and xenoestrogens.
WHERE ARE COMMON XENOESTROGENS FOUND?
- Food (pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, food dyes)
- Household Products (laundry detergent, coffee filters, dish soap, surface cleaners, hand soap, candles)
- Skincare & Beauty Products (sunscreen, make-up, nail polish, toothpaste, body lotion, deodorant, cologne, cream & gel)
- Plastics (plastic water bottles, food storage containers, plastic wrap, shower curtains)
- Building Supplies (paint, wood preservatives, lubricants, adhesives, electrical oils, carpets)
Eliminating these toxins from your body’s tissues is crucial for a healthy, well-functioning endocrine system and hormone balance. To do this, the liver needs to be in good shape since detoxing xenoestrogens happens via the liver in two important phases – phase 1 and 2. Ingredients in DIM-X provide nutrients to support both of those liver detoxification pathways.
INGREDIENTS IN DIM-X
Diindolemethane (DIM) and Calcium D-Glucarate promote detoxification and the elimination of xenoestrogens from the body and support healthy hormone balance.
Tumeric and Broccoli Sprout Extract support specific detoxification mechanisms for the elimination of xenoestrogens from the tissues, as well as reducing excessive oxidation that can occur when xenoestrogens are present.
Milk Thistle Extract provides herbal liver support, which is important for the detoxification of xenoestrogens by the liver.
L-Glutathione is a key detoxifier and antioxidant that supports healthy liver function, tissue integrity and the detoxification pathways.
Resveratrol is a plant extract that supports healthy oxidative balance to protect the tissues of the body from the effects of excessive oxidation that can occur in the presence of xenoestrogens.
DMG supports healthy phase 2 liver function, as well as supplying methyl groups which play an essential role in the detoxification of xenoestrogens. It's also a potent antioxidant.
No need to buy each ingredient individually – find them all in one convenient herbal blend.
DOSAGE AND HEALTHY DETOXIFICATION FOR DIM-X
When it comes to detoxifying the body of xenoestrogens and other toxins, always start slow.
For some people, a reaction to detoxifying is going to happen, and it’s not negative per say – it’s the body reacting to the xenoestrogens being processed. When that happens, the dose should be adjusted to a lower level.
One serving size of DIM-X is 3 capsules, but we recommend starting with one capsule. For some people, it may mean taking one capsule every other day or cycling it so your body can more easily adapt to the toxic load you are managing. If you aren’t having a reaction, increase the dose to two capsules per day, until eventually you are able to take three capsules per day.
Symptoms of normal detoxification include: headaches, muscle pain, nausea, or other GI upsets.
Always take DIM-X with food, NOT on an empty stomach.
Many people are slow detoxifiers, which means the body has a hard time eliminating the toxins. The liver dumps toxins into your small intestines, and by removing toxins too quickly, it can make a person feel unwell.
DETOXIFYING AND DIETARY FIBER
Eating enough dietary fiber is always important, but it’s especially crucial while detoxifying. When your liver dumps toxins into your GI tract, food fibers will tend to capture those toxins and trap them, ultimately transporting them out of your body through bowel movements. But if you are eating a low fiber diet, you potentially have a huge problem because the body doesn’t have dietary fibers to trap the toxins your liver is dumping into your small intestines! Those toxins end up getting reabsorbed right back through your intestinal walls and into your blood.
High fiber foods include vegetables, fruit, legumes, lentils, and whole grains (oatmeal, 100% whole wheat bread, etc.).
