Teeny little hemp seeds (or hearts, if you prefer) are full of protein, essential fatty acids, and essential nutrients. Creamy and delicious, they can be found hidden beneath the hard outer shell of the hemp seed.
These small, brown seeds contain almost 10 grams of protein per 30 g serving (about 3 tablespoons), which is double that of flax or chia seeds, and only 3 grams of carbohydrates (0 grams of sugar). Read all about hemp seeds nutrition profile here.
This twist on hummus is super-nutritious, with just a handful of real-food ingredients. Have some fun by adding some olive tapenade on top, roasted red peppers, or a drizzle of white truffle-flavored olive oil.
