Nori is sometimes called the super seaweed due to its high vitamin content. Nori seaweed contains a high amount of vitamins such as Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, niacin, Vitamin C, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin B5. Nori also contains as much iron as one egg.
Nori contains as much protein as soybeans and is easily digested and assimilated into the body. The seaweed is also rich in amino acids and contains alaline, aspartic acid, glutamic acid and glycine.
All this, and it's gluten-free, vegan, soy-free, egg-free, dairy-free, only 10 calories a sheet, and makes a terrific sandwich wrap!
What you'll need:
Nori sheets (organic, if possible)
Alfalfa or mung bean sprouts
Avocado
Carrot, grated
Edamame hummus
Carefully spread hummus in 2 inch strip across the far side of the nori sheet (or spread a thinner layer of hummus over most of the nori sheet). Fill with veg and roll up, using the hummus as a natural sealer.
Chewy, crunchy, savory, fulfilling. Enjoy!
