The flavor of pumpkin pairs beautifully with all the tasty chai flavors of nutmeg, cardamom, and cinnamon. Along with the flavor perks, this smoothie is also packed with the potent antioxidant, beta-carotene, and cinnamon is also studied for its numerous health benefits, including support of healthy blood glucose levels.
I N G R E D I E N T S
1 cup unsweetened almond, macadamia nut, or coconut milk
1 scoop vegan protein powder or grass-fed whey protein
1/2 frozen banana (freeze in small chunks)
4 generous tablespoons of frozen, unsweetened, plain, organic pumpkin puree (freeze in mounds on wax paper ahead of time, then place in bags and store in the freezer)
1/8 to 1/4 tsp cinnamon, to taste
D I R E C T I O N S
1. Blend together your choice of milk, protein powder, and cinnamon until smooth.
2. Add frozen banana and pumpkin. Blend until smooth.
