Tip to make it look pretty: You must push the sliced fruit right up against the glass. That removes all the air in between, so the fruit stays I place.
That bright blue color? Give props to spirulina, a protein-packed powdered algae. And for nutrients galore with minimal calories, load up on chia seeds.
Base Recipe For Each Smoothie
2 cups almond milk
Banana
Combine ¼ cup chia seeds with 1 cup almond milk, and soak for 20 minutes.
In a blender, combine with 1 more cup almond milk and banana

Creating Various Colors For Each Smoothie
Pink smoothie: add 1 cup sliced strawberries
Blue smoothie: add 1 cup chopped pineapple and 1 teaspoon spirulina powder
Pale purple smoothie: add 1 cup blueberries
Yellow-Orange smoothie: add 1 cup mango
Blend, then fill the jar one-third full. Press some sliced fruit up against the glass, pressing to adhere. Fill with the remaining smoothie.
