This one supports a healthy libido!
Maca, a Peruvian root vegetable, has been used by the Incans for more than 2,000 years and has generated a lot of buzz as an aphrodisiac and its ability to help maintain normal sexual health. Maca root is also known to support the vital components of sexual activity including arousal, performance, and stamina.
Nutritionally, maca root offers a variety of vitamins, minerals, and beneficial compounds. Maca root is a rich source of vitamin C, B-vitamins, calcium, iron, and copper (to name a few). Maca also contains 18 of the 20 essential amino acids needed to synthesize protein and cholesterol-controlling sterols.
Maca is a root vegetable, like a radish, turnip, or potato. Its flavor can be quite earthy or malty, with a caramel or butterscotch undertone, which disappears into smoothies. Maca has a wonderfully warm, almost vanilla-like aroma.
