Dairy-Free Almond Chai Latte

Makes 4 servings

  • 4 cups almond milk
  • 4 Darjeeling tea bags
  • 4 star anise
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 5 lightly-crushed cardamom pods
  • 1/3 cup peeled, sliced fresh ginger
  • 6 peppercorns
  • 3 Tbsp agave nectar

Combine in a saucepan, simmer for 3 minutes, then remove from heat and steep 5 minutes. Strain into four 8 oz mugs.
