Energy in an instant! These raw, whole-food bites come together quickly, without all the ultra-processed ingredients (processed sugars, hydrogenated oils, preservatives). They are great as an on-the-go snack and packed in a lunch for school or work. Kid-approved!
I N G R E D I E N T S
1 cup raw hazelnuts
3 tbsp cacao powder
3 tbsp honey (or go vegan by substituting slightly less coconut nectar or Monk fruit)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract (or 1/8 tsp vanilla bean powder to taste)
Pinch of Himalayan salt
D I R E C T I O N S
1. Grind nuts into a semi-fine texture in a food processor.
2. Add remaining ingredients and pulse to mix.
3. Roll into bite-sized balls and enjoy!*
*Refrigerate remaining bites
Note: you may want to roll these tasty treats in a little extra cacao powder, to get that 'truffle' looking effect.Â
