You're Probably Eating Less Protein Than You Think

Protein needs are higher than many people realize—especially if you exercise regularly, want to build or maintain muscle, or are over the age of 40.

The International Society of Sports Nutrition recommends:

1.4–2.0 g of protein per kilogram of body weight per day

(approximately 0.6 to 0.9 grams per pound) for active adults looking to support muscle growth and recovery.

For someone who weighs 175 pounds, that's about 110–160 grams of protein every day.

What does 119 grams of protein look like?

  • Breakfast: 25 g
  • Lunch: 35 g
  • Dinner: 35 g
  • Protein Shake Snack: 24 g

Hitting those numbers consistently with whole foods alone isn't always practical. One scoop of Whey Protein Isolate provides 24 grams of complete protein in about 10 seconds—making it one of the easiest ways to close the gap and meet your daily protein goal.

Why Whey Protein Isolate Is the Gold Standard

When it comes to protein quality, whey protein isolate is widely recognized as one of the best options available.

  • Complete Protein – Provides all nine essential amino acids your body can't produce on its own.
  • Naturally Rich in BCAAs – Delivers branched-chain amino acids, including leucine, isoleucine, and valine, which play important roles in muscle repair and recovery.
  • High in Leucine – Leucine is the key amino acid that helps stimulate muscle protein synthesis after exercise.
  • Highly Bioavailable – Whey protein is efficiently digested and absorbed, making its amino acids readily available to support muscle maintenance and recovery.
  • Lower in Lactose – Additional filtration removes most of the lactose found in whey concentrate, making it a better option for many people who are lactose sensitive.

Whether your goal is building muscle, recovering from workouts, maintaining strength as you age, or simply getting enough protein each day, whey protein isolate delivers one of the highest-quality protein sources available.

Delicious in Water. Even Better in Your Favorite Recipes.

Chocolate

Made with cocoa powder for a deep, smooth chocolate flavor that's rich without being overly sweet.

Strawberries and Cream

A creamy strawberry flavor that's just as good shaken with water as it is mixed into smoothies, oats, yogurt, or baked recipes.

Vanilla

A classic vanilla flavor that's light, creamy, and easy to enjoy day after day.

Sweetened for Consistency

We use sucralose and stevia, a zero-calorie sweetener. The reality is simple: if you don't enjoy drinking your protein, you're less likely to use it consistently—and consistency is what helps you reach your daily protein goals.

We Don't Just Sell It. We Make It.

Most supplement brands don't manufacture their own products—they hire a third-party facility to do it. That means they rely on someone else for ingredient sourcing, quality control, testing, and production.

Healthy Goods is different. We've been manufacturing nutritional supplements in our own GMP-certified, FDA-registered Michigan facility for more than 60 years. From sourcing ingredients to blending, testing, and packaging, every step happens under our oversight.

Everything You Need to Know!

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Whey Protein Isolate for? +

Lifters, athletes, hybrid trainers, and anyone working to hit a daily protein target. Also a good fit for anyone who's found other protein powders difficult to digest because of lactose.

What's the difference between isolate and concentrate? +

Filtration. Concentrate is typically 70–80% protein by weight, with the balance made up of fat, carbohydrate, and lactose. Isolate is filtered further — to approximately [[XX]]% protein — reducing the fat, carbohydrate, and lactose content. More protein per scoop.

What sweetener do you use? +

Sucralose. It's a zero-calorie sweetener with no added sugar, and we chose it for flavor performance. Some plant-derived sweeteners carry a bitter or licorice-like aftertaste that many people find hard to drink consistently, and consistency is what determines whether a protein powder actually helps you. If you're looking specifically for a stevia- or monk-fruit-sweetened product, this isn't it — and we'd rather say so upfront.

Is it allergen-friendly? +

It's gluten-free, soy-free, and made without added sugar. It contains milk, since whey is a dairy protein. Not suitable for vegans or for anyone with a milk allergy.

I'm lactose sensitive. Will this work for me? +

Isolate contains substantially less lactose than whey concentrate, which is why many people prefer it. Individual tolerance varies, so start with a single serving. If you have a diagnosed milk allergy, this product isn't appropriate for you — that's a reaction to milk protein, not to lactose.

When should I take Whey Protein Isolate? +

Post-workout is the classic window, but research consistently shows total daily protein intake matters more than timing. Take it whenever it helps you reach your daily total.

Can I bake with it? +

Yes. It holds up in pancakes, oats, and baked goods. Isolate firms up more than concentrate under heat, so start by replacing about a quarter of the flour and adjust from there.

Does it mix in just water? +

Yes — that's what it's built for. Ten seconds in a shaker with 8–12 oz of cold water. Milk makes it creamier if you prefer.

Where is it made? +

We manufacture it in our own GMP-certified and FDA-registered facility in the great state of Michigan in the USA.

What if it doesn’t work for me? +

You can try Oligo-Supreme with confidence. If you are not satisfied, it is covered by our anytime 100% money-back guarantee.
