This delicious and healthful SOY-FREE sauce has many uses, including as a salad dressing (such as an Asian noodle salad), dipping sauce for spring rolls or as a marinade. Also known as Vietnamese Nuoc Cham.
Yields:
1/3 cupIngredients:
2 Tbsp Coconut Vinegar
1 tsp Lime Juice
1 tsp Coconut Aminos
1 Tbsp Water
2 ½ tsp Coconut Nectar (or agave nectar)
½ tsp finely grated Lime Zest
1 minced Garlic Clove
½ - 1 minced Chili Pepper
¼ tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
Directions:
Grate lime peel and finely mince garlic and chili. Whisk together with rest of ingredients. Garnish with finely chopped cilantro, if desired.
Can be stored in a tightly closed container or small jar for up to 2 weeks.
