This decadent, antioxidant-rich hot chocolate is free from dairy, processed sugar and additives. Top it with whipped coconut cream & cacao nibs and be prepared to share!
Ingredients
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
 - 2 tablespoons cacao powder
 - 1 tablespoon maple syrup, agave syrup, or coconut palm sugar
 - Pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon (optional)
 
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a medium size sauce pan, adding pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon to taste, if desired.
 - Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
