Ashwagandha Hot Chocolate {Vegan}

Ashwagandha has been used for over 6,000 years in Ayurveda medicine, which originated in India. Ashwagandha has numerous uses, with reproductive health being one of them. It supports fertility in men and women, and supports sperm health and libido. Ashwagandha is a unique adaptogenic herb, meaning it supports the body’s ability to cope with physical and psychological stressors. Ashwagandha Hot Chocolate is delicious, nutritious, and bursting with love ingredients. Both ashwagandha and chocolate are considered aphrodisiacs—another added perk to this recipe! The cayenne and cinnamon belong in this recipe because according to Ayurveda, if one is too cold, having a Vata or Kapha imbalance, fertility is lessened – the body needs to be HOT! Ashwagandha Hot Chocolate Recipe

1 Tablespoon Ashwagandha powder  

3 Tablespoons organic dark chocolate Cacao powder  

1-3 teaspoons organic sugar or other natural sweetener, like raw honey, liquid stevia, or yacon syrup 

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 pinch cayenne (or more if you like it spicy!)

2 cups of organic milk (any variety)

Enjoy this daily, or even 2-3 times per day.
